Photo Series 2

Eight years of living in the Southern Highlands has taught me that it’s a cache for artists, photographers and designers who all understand the importance of a little quiet. The Highlands offers a balance between city life and country living, though it can no more be labelled country than Tamworth can be labelled a global financial capital.

My friend Jeff of Bokey Grant, built EA House in Willow Vale as a home for his family. The house is set into a rock escarpment and seems to grow out of it in a way that feels both otherworldly and completely natural in its setting. Jeff was conscious of leaving the landscape untouched and the house touches the site purposefully but carefully.

Our second photo series, shot at EA House, features a muted palette of earthy tones with a few more formal looks, striking that balance between city and country.
